Betty J Mann

Betty Jean Mann, age 83 of Orange, Texas, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2020 in Beaumont, Texas. Services to honor Betty’s life will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at Dorman Funeral Home Chapel with Paul Masters officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Autumn Oaks Memorial Park. Family and friends will gather for a visitation one hour prior to the service at Dorman Funeral Home.

Betty was born on August 29, 1936 in Pineland, Texas to Hallie Peery Glawson and Clifford Glawson. She worked for many years as a seamstress in Orange County. She loved spending time with her family and going to the Country Music Shows. Betty had love for plants and loved to arrange beautiful flowers.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years Robert Mann, parents Clifford and Hallie Glawson, grandson Jason Ray Bowsher, brothers, Ross Glawson and Lonnie Glawson and a sister Jerry Petry.

Survivors include her children; Billy Ray Bowsher of Mauriceville, TX, Robert Allan Mann of Orange, TX and Milinda Nation of Orangefield, TX, brothers, Ronnie Glawson of Kirbyville, TX and Jimmy Glawson of Beauomnt, sister Ann Lois Hughes of Branson, MO and great grandson Jason Ray Malley of Mississippi.
