Billie Marie (Cooper) Milligan

Billie Marie Cooper Milligan, age 82 of Orange, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 in Orange. A memorial service to honor Billie’s life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 4, 2019 at Dorman Funeral Home Chapel. Family and friends will gather one hour prior to the service for a visitation.

Billie was born in Beaumont, Texas on January 2, 1937 to Mae Fountain Cooper and W.C. Cooper. Billie was a graduate of French High School, and attended Lamar College.  She was a member of the school band and the theatre arts at French High School. Billie raised 12 children in Orange, Texas. She loved spending time crocheting and knitting.

Billie was preceded in death by her father W. C. Bill Cooper, her mother Mae Fountain Cooper, her sister Shirley Cooper Williams, sons, Kenneth Miller, Shawn Milligan, Bobby Milligan, and daughter Roxanne Milligan Smith.

Left to cherish her memory are her children; Mark Milligan and his wife Ellen of Beaumont, TX, Patrick Milligan and his wife Martha of Orange, TX, Dana Milligan and her husband Donato Rodriguez of Austin, TX, Hershel Milligan and his wife Vie of Nederland, TX, Russell Milligan and his wife Ronda of Orange, TX, Jeff Milligan of Orange, TX, Kevin Milligan of Orange, TX and Belinda Milligan of Village Mills, TX her sister Linda LeBlanc of Mauriceville, TX, twenty four grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, Billie's family has requested that donations be made to either The American Cancer Society, or The Alzheimer's Association.
