Brett Britnell

Brett Allen Britnell, age 36, of Bridge City, Texas, passed away at his home Thursday, August 12, 2021. Services to honor Brett’s life will be held at First Assembly of God Bridge City on Friday Aug. 20th at 6pm. Dorman Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Brett was born on June 1, 1985 in Port Arthur, Texas to parents Linda Eubanks and Calvin Britnell, Jr. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. He worked as an equipment operator with Zachary. He loved going fishing with his family and friends. Brett was a talented cook and was quite good at it. He loved staying up all night and BBQing with his brothers. Brett had dreams of opening up his own BBQ restaurant one day. Brett adored his sister Tracy and was her best friend. He also enjoyed Jiu Jitsu where he made many friends. His gentle heart was truly inspiring. Brett would give you the last of anything he had if you needed it. He had a bigger than life personality and always kept everyone around him laughing. Brett has been described as a brother, best friend, and a big friendly giant. His nieces and nephews adored him. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

He was preceded in death by his father Calvin Britnell, Jr., and his grandparents, Betty Britnell and Calvin Britnell, Sr. 

Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Linda Eubanks and David of Shreveport, TX, step-father Jeffery Reeves, brothers, Brad Britnell and his wife Amanda of Orange, TX, Erik Britnell and his wife Rachel of Orange, TX, sister Tracy Dunwoody of Bridge City, TX, brother, Joseph LeLeux and fiance Jacquelyn Oberle of Orange, TX, nieces and nephews; Ben Britnell, Bryce Britnell, Jacob Britnell, Luke Britnell, Hayden Arnold, Cheyenne Britnell, Lane Dunwoody ,Bailey Dunwoody, Legion LeLeux, Luca Leleux and many friends.
