Catherine Jetton

Catherine Jetton, age 83, of Bridge City, Texas, went to be with our Lord and Savior on July 21, 2020. Graveside services will be held at New Hope Cemetery in Center, Texas on Monday, July 27, 2020, at 3:00 PM.

Catherine was born in Brookeland, Texas on Thursday, June 17, 1937. Catherine was a lifelong resident of the Port Neches, Texas area where she was known and loved by many. Catherine married the love of her life, Walter Jack Jetton, Sr. and shared many years of marriage. Catherine loved doing things outside, such as planting beautiful flowers and working in the yard. She went everywhere with her children and grandchildren. When the children would go camping, well you could bet that she was going too. She loved sports of all kinds. When the children played volleyball, she played with them as well. Catherine was a wonderful wife and mother to all of her children. She always went above and beyond and tried any way possible to help anyone that needed it.

Catherine was a loving daughter, mother, sister and grandmother and wonderful friend, who will forever be loved and missed by all who knew her.

Catherine is preceded in death by her loving husband, Jack Jetton; parents, Gracie Keen Lackey and Nathan Oden Keen; daughter, Sheila Wright; brothers, Elton Barthol, Preston Keen, Gilbert Keen and Troy Keen; sisters, Marie Miles, Patsy Gallier and Hilda Cantone.

Left to treasure her memory are her daughters, Selina Burns and Vickie Leath; sons, Jerry Jetton and Walter Jetton, Jr; sisters, Frances Whitehead and Joleen Koenig; brother, Kenneth Keen; 11 Grandchildren, 15 Great-Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great Grandson.
