Connie L. Young

Connie Lynn Young, 68 years old, was born at home in Orangefield, Texas on January 01, 1956 and passed away April 08, 2024 in Beaumont, Texas. Connie attended Orangefield High School. She graduated from Incarnate Word University in San Antonio, Texas with her nursing degree, in 1978.

Connie worked as a pediatric nurse for ten years before majoring in psychiatric care. She worked as a charge nurse for Beaumont Neurological for twenty years.

Connie was a gentle soul who loved to read and was very educated in the field of medicine. She loved her family and devoted her life to caring for others.

Connie was preceded in death by her father and mother, Arthur and Lurlene Young, of Orangefield, TX, and her sister, Arlene Benson, of Little Cypress, Texas.

She is survived by her brother, Carrol Young and wife, Sharon, of Orangefield, Texas, nephew, Jeff Young and family, of Jasper, Texas, niece, Jennifer Bryant and family, of Orangefield, Texas, niece, Misty Guillot, of Orangefield, Texas, and niece, Jo Lynn Benson and family, of Orange, TX.

Services will be a private gathering of family, in Orangefield, Texas. Arrangements were made under the care of Dorman Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Incarnate Word of San Antonio, Texas.
