Coralie Jane Steffler

Coralie Jane Steffler, age 90, of Beaumont, Texas, passed away on August 12, 2023, surround by loved ones. In lieu of a service, a private family gathering will be held at a later date.

Coralie Jane Steffler was born on September 16, 1932, in Oak Park, Illinois, to parents Roy Stephen Pratt and Margaret Sigler. Coralie married James Gilchrist Pattillo Steffler on December 27, 1956, in Dormont, Pennsylvania. A long-time resident of Orange, Texas, Coralie worked as a secretary for about 30 years, at Allied Chemical Corporation/Honeywell where she retired in 2005. Coralie was a talented pianist, artist, and an avid reader. She loved her grandchildren, her pets, and working in her flower gardens.

Preceding Coralie Jane Steffler in death were her parents, Roy Stephen Pratt and Margaret Sigler; and James Gilchrist Pattillo Steffler. Coralie is survived by son, James Gordon Steffler and wife, Deborah Haskins; daughter, Janet Steffler Bland; daughter, Peggy Steffler Felchak; grandchildren, Matthew W. Bland, Peyton R. Felchak, and Griffin B. Felchak.

Memorial gifts to honor Coralie may be made to First United Methodist Church, 502 N. 6th Street, Orange, Texas 77630; In person to the Orange City Animal Shelter, 806 Simmons Drive, Orange, Texas 77630; or mailed to Orange City Animal Shelter, 501 7th Street, Orange, Texas 77630; or to an animal rescue/sanctuary of your choosing.
