Daniel Craig Hudson, age 56 of Orange, Texas, passed away on Monday, February 1, 2021 with his family by his side. Graveside services to honor Daniel’s life will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, February 8, 2021 at Hudson Cemetery with Pastor JR Armstrong officiating. Family and friends will gather at the cemetery from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Monday for a visitation. Dorman Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
Daniel was born in Orange, Texas on December 17, 1964 to Melba Sanders Hudson and Travis Charles Hudson, Sr. He proudly served in the United States Army and was a master pipefitter. Daniel had the most amazing upbeat outlook on life, even as his health declined. He was a member of Mauriceville Assembly of God and loved to go fishing with family and friends. Daniel was a wonderful cook and made the best Creole Flounder.
He is preceded in death by his parents Travis Charles Hudson, Sr. and Melba Hudson and his sister Glenda Gayle Naegelin.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters Krystin Hudson of Mauriceville, TX and Lauren Hudson and Adam Morgan of Vidor, TX, brother Travis Charles Hudson, Jr. of Orange, TX, sister Leana Beth Hudson of Fannett, TX, four grandchildren; Brooklyn, Brody, Seth and Samuel and lots of extended family and many wonderful friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Hudson Memorial Fund at First Financial Bank of Mauriceville, TX.
