Diane Odom DeRamus

Diane Odom DeRamus, 49, of Vidor, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2021, in Beaumont, Texas.  A graveside service, to honor Diane’s life, will be held at 10:00 AM, on Monday, January 11, 2021, at Autumn Oaks Memorial Park; Bro. John Fortenberry officiating.  A visitation of family and friends will be held on Sunday, January 10, 2021, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, at Dorman Funeral Home.

On Wednesday, February 17, 1971, Diane was born to Darlene (Finley) and Kelba Paul Odom, in Beaumont, Texas.  Diane lived most of her life in southeast Texas, where she was known and loved by many.  Anyone who had the pleasure to know Diane would describe her as being a selfless and caring woman, who enjoyed spending all of her time with family, and would go out of her way to do anything, for anyone.   Diane was a devoted wife, to husband, Michael Jay DeRamus, for 31 years, a loving mother of four, and grandmother of four, who will be greatly missed, by all who knew her.

Diane is preceded in death by her parents, Kelba Paul and Darlene Odom, and brother, Johnny Paul Odom.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Michael DeRamus, of Vidor, Texas; son, Wesley DeRamus, of Vidor, Texas; daughters, Amber DeRamus, of Orange, Texas, Whitney DeRamus, of Vidor, Texas, and Johanna Amik, of  Vidor, Texas; brother, Hershel Odom, of Vidor, Texas;  grandchildren, Morgan, Jailyn, Camden, and Taren; nieces, Darlin, Alyssa, and Jessica; nephew, Jonathan; and numerous members of extended family, and friends.

Honoring Diane as pallbearers are Jason Ply, Kevin Thibodeaux, Tony Loggins, James Odom, Jonathan DeRamus, Thomas Steed, Dan Steed, and Johnny Wayne DeRamus.
