Donald Joe Yellott, age 64, of Vidor, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2020. Funeral Services, under the direction of Dorman Funeral Home, will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 18, 2020, at Dorman Funeral Home in Orange, Texas, with Ray Yellott officiating. Intermittent will immediately follow the services at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor, Texas. Visitation for family and friends will be held at Dorman Funeral Home on Friday, January 17, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
Donald Joe was born on Thursday, September 15, 1955 in Vidor, Texas to parents Shirley Jo Yellott (Simmons) and Billy Donald Yellott. A lifelong resident of Vidor, Donald was a wonderful man that was truly one of a kind and was very loved by everyone that he met along the way. Spending time with family was his very favorite thing to do. His children and grandchildren were the light of life. He also enjoyed watching John Wayne movies, looking at old cars and watching the Cowboys play football. He made his living working as a heavy equipment operator on the pipeline. He loved his job and the fact that he got to travel all over the country. Donald was a Christian and believed in our Lord and Savior. Donald was a son, husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend, who will forever be loved and missed by all who knew him.
Donald is survived by his daughters, Lori Kc and husband Avi, as well as Julie Yellott and grandchildren, Madison Kc, Camille Kc, Alyssa Kc, Liam Kc and Tristian Yellott.
Donald is preceded in death by his loving wife of 30 plus years, Annette Yellott; mother and father, Billy and Shirley Yellott; sisters, Nettie Yellott, Cindy Yellott and Karen Yellott.
Pallbearers honoring Donald are, Avi Kc, Aswason Kc, Tristian Yellott, Edward Mace, Randy Williams and Cordell Williams.
