Donnie was born in Beaumont, Texas on Saturday, July 7, 1951 to, Erma Jean (Burrows) and Homer Donald Will, Sr. A lifetime resident of Orange, Texas, Donnie was known and loved by many. He met the love of his life when he came to know, Judy Gale (Wagner). After courting for a while, the couple married on, May 16, 1980. They shared 41 blissful years of marriage and made a lifetime of memories, together, with their children and grandchildren. Donnie made his living at the LCM Maintenance Department as a Utility Employee. Donnie was a homebody who loved his iPad, tinkering in his shop and with his guns. If you didn’t find him there, you could usually expect him to be out riding four wheelers with the grandchildren, deer or hog hunting and occasionally doing a little bit of bank fishing. He enjoyed sitting on his porch, drinking his coffee and “watching the world go by”. He was truly a happy guy with an old soul. “Hey Boss Man”, was his favorite saying and he said it to everyone, just like that. He loved to be funny and impromptu sing about anything, at that very moment. He loved being in his little corner of the world at home and didn’t have any reason to need to leave when his loving wife always made sure to take his list right along with hers. It mainly consisted of ammunition for his guns and maybe a favorite snack or two, as that was all he really needed. His family was truly what he lived for every single day, as they were the light of his life. Donnie was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, son-in-law and friend who will forever be loved and missed by all who knew him.
Donnie is preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Erma Jean Will; son, Donnie Lee Will, Jr.; brother, Joe Will, as well as mother-in-law and father-in-law, Gelta and Clifton Dugas.
