She was a resident of Orange, Texas since 1935, where she was known and loved by many. She was a proud and longtime member of, Old First Orange Baptist Church. When life allowed, Earlene was there at the church just about every time the doors opened. Reading the Bible was her daily routine, as she loved learning as much as she could about her God and his promises to us. Earlene loved taking family road trips all over the United States, just as they loved taking her with them, while enjoying her acting like a “cut-up”. She was a perfectionist about her yard and she thoroughly enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys play football. When she was doing either of those activities, she preferred to do it undisturbed. Above anything else, her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were the light of her life. She attended all their sporting events and was always their biggest fan. Earlene was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend who will be forever loved and missed by all who knew her.
