We are deeply sorry for your loss - the staff at Dorman Funeral Home
Edith was born on September 7, 1944 in Shelbyville, Texas to parents, Edna Miller Haley and Burrett Clinton Haley. Edith worked for many years with LCM ISD. She was a faithful member of Old Laurel Baptist Church and was always excited to go worship every chance she got. She enjoyed playing games on her computer and she loved to go fishing in her younger years. But the thing that she loved most dearly, was her family and she treasured every single minute they spent together. Edith was best friends with her sweet sister Betty and will be watching over her from heaven as Betty has surgery on Thursday. She had a wonderful caring spirit and a smile that just lit up a room. Edith will be greatly missed by all those that knew her and her love.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 48 years Darrell Lee McCarver, parents Burrett and Edna Haley, sister Billy Francis Folsom and brother Bufford Haley.
