Elaine was born on Monday, September 25, 1967, in Port Arthur, Texas to parents, Joyce Irene (Willett) and James Joseph Burns. Elaine was a longtime resident of Orange, Texas after moving from Port Arthur over 35 years ago. She loved spending quality, one-on-one, time with her family, every chance that life allowed. Everyone found it very easy to confide in her, as she was known to be an excellent problem solver and very easy to talk to. She made her living working as a care taker for home health and loved every day of it. She believed in the bible and loved the Lord with her whole heart. Elaine was a very proud member of, Well of Hope Church, in Bridge City, Texas. She enjoyed watching cooking shows and attempting to replicate those recipes. She always got an, “A”, for effort.

Elaine was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and friend, who will forever be loved and missed by all who knew her.

Elaine is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Phillip Marler; children, Adam Marler and wife Lucy, Chris Marler and wife April, John Marler and wife Tuesday, as well as, Alishe Marler; brothers, Robert Burns and wife Dianne, as well as, Bryan Burns; sisters, Roxanne Summerville and husband Darrell, Veronica Burns, Dorene Stimac and Kimberly Burns, as well as, 10 grandchildren.
