Ella Trahan Obituary

Ella Rose Trahan, age 77, of Orange, Texas, passed from this life on Monday, January 4, 2021. Arrangements were made under the direction of Dorman Funeral Home. A memorial service to honor the life of Ella, will be scheduled for a later date.

Ella was born in Orangefield, Texas on Sunday, May 23, 1943, to parents, Murphy Wayne Trahan, Sr. and Ella Mae (Wilson). Ella was a lifelong resident of Orange where she was known and loved by many. She was a proud member of the American Legion, Post #49, in Orange. Ella was a very loving and strong-willed woman, whom loved her family and absolutely adored her three cats. She made her career in the accounts payable department working for, Print-Pack, in Orange. With her time, she enjoyed sewing, crocheting, as well as, cooking; all three of which she was very good at doing.

Ella was a loving mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother and wonderful friend, who will forever be loved and missed by all who knew her.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Theresa Martin and husband Stephen of Orange, Texas; Karen Lee and husband Denis of Natrona Heights, Pennsylvania; Eric Bergeron and wife Bonnie of West Lake, Louisiana; John Bergeron and fiancée Cathy Decuir of Port Arthur, Texas; as well as, Michael Arceneaux and Scottland Jacobson of Washington; brothers, Wayne Trahan and wife Yvonne of Orangefield, Texas, as well as, Roger Trahan of Orangefield, Texas; sisters, Linda Zylkes of Louisiana; Penny Phillips of Orange, Texas, as well as, Betsy Southern of Mississippi; 10 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

Ella is preceded in death by her parents, Murphy Wayne Trahan, Sr. and Ella Mae (Wilson).
