Eula Pearl (Rushing) Helm

Eula Pearl Helm, age 77 of Orange, Texas, went to heaven on Monday, March 22, 2021 in Beaumont, Texas. Services to honor her life will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, March 26, 2021 at Dorman Funeral Home with Pastor Jimmy Dean Owens officiating. Interment will follow at 3:00 PM at Henry Cemetery on Gallatin, Texas. Family and friends will gather from 9:00 AM to10:00 AM prior to the service at Dorman Funeral Home.

Eula was born in Houston, Texas on November 12, 1943 to parents Rosalee Mciver Rushing and James Floyd Rushing.  She married her husband Leroy Helm and the two settled in Orange, Texas to raise their family. Eula was a member McArthur Heights Baptist Church. She had a kind and giving soul that always put others before herself. Her family meant everything to her and she truly embodied the meaning of a Godly woman. Her favorite holiday was Christmas and she loved to decorate, but most of all she just loved having a full house of her loved ones. Eula will be greatly missed by all the people she touched through her life with her love.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Leroy Helm, parents James and Rosalee Rushing, son-in-laws; Ronald Beall, Wes Bussell and Bobby Bray, brothers; Carroll Rushing, Jessie Rushing and Clifton Rushing, sisters; Elva Jean Parish, Katherine Parish, Louise Parish, Shirley Rushing and infant Patricia Rushing.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children; Roy Helm and his wife Cindy of Orange, TX, TJ Helm of Orange, Texas, Pamela Bussell of Orange, TX, Mary Ann Morgan and her husband Barry of Orange, TX and Kaylynn Bray of Orange, TX, sisters, Martha Roebuck and her husband Hershel of Bryan, TX and Rebecca Sisco and her husband David of Eureka Springs, AR, Brenda Moore and her husband Gary of Pasadena, TX, ten grandchildren; Kayla Bartholamew, Amber Hicks, Camrie Helm, Private First Class Maddison Helm, Katelynn Helm, Dustin Helm, Heather Foote, Jason Dakota Bussell, Isabella Morgan and Brandon Bray, seven great grandchildren;  Jaxson Bartholamew, Mason Bartholamew, Levi Hicks, Emma Hicks, Kurt Foote, Annabelle Foote and Ryatt Monk and as well as, numerous nieces and nephews and many wonderful friends.

Pallbearers to honor Eula are Roy Helm, TJ Helm, Russell Bartholamew, Chris Hicks, Brandon Bray, Dustin Helm, Amber Hicks, Private First Class Maddison Helm, Jason Owens and Travis Owens.
