Mrs. Frances Diane Cooper of Bridge City, Texas, passed away Friday, January 24, 2020, in Beaumont, Texas.
"Diane" was born May 17, 1945, in Orange, Texas, and had been a lifelong resident of the area. After 34 years of service, she retired from Sabine Federal Credit Union as vice-president of member services. She was a graduate of Stark High School and later attended Lamar University. Diane enjoyed her yard work and had a great love for helping others. "She lived to do for someone else."
Her survivors include her husband, Richard "Tommy" Cooper of Bridge City, Texas; sons, Richard Glenn "Ricky" Cooper and wife Deliah of Shreveport, Louisiana, area, and Robert Thomas Cooper and wife Elena of Orange, Texas; grandchildren, Thomas James Cooper, Ronald Alexander Goitia, Emily Elena Goitia, and Keyla Emily Carter, all of Orange, Texas; and a sister, Sherian Ann Southard and husband Rick of Orange, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn O'Brien and Etta Elouise (Richards) O'Brien.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Tuesday, January 28, 2020 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, at Dorman Funeral Home, located at 8808 State Hwy. 87 North in Orange, Texas.
