Fred Stephen Hogg

Fred Stephen "Steve" Hogg, age 91, of Orange, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 in Jasper, Texas.  An interment for Steve will be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Orange, Texas on Friday, September 8, 2023 at 9:00 AM.

Fred Steve Hogg lived a long and vibrant life, too full to fit on any page. He will now live in the hearts and   memories of all who knew him. He is remembered as a well respected, admired, and loved man. He was born in Beaumont, Texas to Stepen Hogg and Belle Dietzel.   Steve took as well to the seat of a saddle as to a pilot's cockpit. From Sour Lake to South Korea he lived in service to his fellow man; as a Deputy and DuPont Chemical Analyst, and US Air Force Control Operator in Okinawa, as a father and grandfather, and as a builder of warm homes, model cars, and flying squirrel cages. Those who met him saw and knew a man assured, quick to speak his mind, for the family and community, and committed to serve. Steve joined his wife Betty of 64 years on the evening of September 5th. He is survived by his daughter LaRee Monk and granddaughter Elissa, son Lynn and wife Rene', grandson Garrett Hogg and wife Jessica, and grandson Gunter Hogg.   1 Cor15:20
