Bubba was a wonderful family man and very much enjoyed spending time with Melva and their children making many memories through the years.
Bubba worked at International Paper, formerly Owens Illinois for 44 years, making many life-long friends while there. He retired in February 2020.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his cherished mother in law, Vernie Cornes . She was a light in his life and he never passed up a chance to help or take care of her.
Bubba was survived by his wife, Melva Rae Byrd, his daughter, Kim Byrd Jackson and his three sons, Ronnie LaChance, Jerry LaChance, wife Cindi and Gary LaChance and wife Julie. To know Bubba was to know life. He never met a stranger and he knew how to make everyone around him laugh.
