Gloria Jane Stanley, 79 years young, passed away on July 28, 2023, in Jefferson County, at Harbor Hospice.
Gloria was born on May 6, 1944, in Orange, Texas, to Essie May Ellis and Jc Ellis. She was married to her husband, Clinton Stanley, for 37 years. Her favorite hobbies were to grow a lovely garden and thrift shopping; she loved making good deals. Gloria will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Preceding Gloria in death is her son, Clinton Robert Stanley the 2nd; husband, Clinton Stanley; father, Jc Ellis, and mother, Essie May Ellis; sisters, Patsy Green, Linda Booker and Phyllis Ellis; and brother, Jimmy Ellis.
Those left to cherish Gloria’s memory are her brother, Jerry Ellis; adopted brothers, Larry Ellis and David Ellis; sons, Dennis Stanley, Darrell Stanley and wife, Becky Stanley, William Stanley and wife, Sherry Stanley; 9 grandkids; and 3 great-grandkids.
Arrangements were made under the care of Dorman Funeral Home.
