Harry Seelye Obituary

Harry Gates Seelye, age 72 of Orange, Texas, passed away at his home on Friday, June 10, 2022. Dorman Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care and arrangements of Mr. Seelye.

Harry was born in Washington on January 8, 1950 to parents, Rosie Bouley Seelye and Roy Gates Seelye. He had been a longtime resident of the Orange area. Harry loved spending time in the kitchen and was an amazing cook. He also loved to go fishing. Harry will be greatly missed by all those he impacted with his strong character.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Roy Gates Seelye and Rosie Peveto and siblings; Roy Lee Seelye, Stuart “Junior” Hoover Jr, Shirley Sweeney and Bonnie Davis.

Harry is survived by his daughters, Rhonda Bowles and her husband Brad of Georgetown, TX and Leah Cummings of West Orange, TX, brothers Woodzy Peveto of Orange, TX, Larry Seelye of Orange, TX, Steve Gianoutsos of Orange TX, Theresa Odom of Apple Springs, TX and Abbie Flores of Orange, TX and five grandchildren.
