James Edgar Wilson, a lifelong resident of Deweyville, Texas passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 in Starks, Louisiana. A private memorial service will be held a later date.

James was born on January 25, 1952 to Lillie Bell “Cat” McCall Wilson and Edgar Lee Wilson. He worked many years in construction before becoming a truck driver. James loved spending time with all his friends from "Jay's Melody Club".

James is preceded in death by his parents Edgar and Cat Wilson, sister Glenda Ashmore, brother Steve Leonard Wilson, grandson, Brendan Twiner and nephew T-Tom Ashmore.

Survivors include his children; Donnie Hollingsworth and his wife Janice of Vidor, TX, Brenda Wilson of Orange, TX, Steven Wilson and his wife Mei Yan of Hong Kong and Jamie Dyess of Vidor, TX. Four grandchildren; Ashlie’ Chacin and her husband Diego, Stetson Hollingsworth, Allison Hennigan and Brianna Sum Yee Wilson and a brother Charles "Bimbo" Wilson. As well as numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
