Jean J Mills

Jean J Mills, age 77 of Orange, Texas, passed away at her home on Monday, February 28, 2022. Services to honor Jean will be held Thursday, March 3, 2022 at 7:00PM at Dorman Funeral Home, Orange, Texas.  Visitation will be prior from 5:00PM to 7:00PM.  There will be a gathering of family and friends Friday, March 4, 2022 at 6:00PM at Troy’s house, 9001 Warbler Ln, Orange, Texas, 77630.

Jean wan born in Mansfield, Louisiana on December 15, 1944 to parents, Ellis and Trema Alexander.  Jean was a caring wife and mother that was deeply loved.  She loved to cook and be creative; she baked and decorated birthday and wedding cakes for many family and friends.  Jean enjoyed sewing, listening to music from the 50’s and 60’s and was an avid reader.

Jean is preceded in death by her father Ellis Alexander and mother Trema and step-father Zeke Gravett; Sisters, Joy Mitchell, June Gunter and Joan Burnett.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Robert Mills of Orange, TX, children, Troy Mills and wife Darlene of Orange, TX, Lacy Walthall and husband Carl of Louisville, KY; grandchildren, Zeke Mills of Port Neches, TX, Lacy Elam and Ashly of Port Neches, TX, Mazie Jackson and Billy of California, Zane Walthall of California, Mac Walthall of Louisville, KY, Christopher Woods and Whitney of Bridge City, TX, Randi Hinson of Mauriceville, TX, Kayli Hebert of Orange, TX and five great-great grandchildren.
