Jeri Kaye Johnson, age 56 of Orange, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 in Orange, Texas. Jeri Kaye was born on August 11, 1965 in St. Louis, Missouri to parents, Mary Meekee Johnson and Gerald Bernice Johnson. She was a sweet, kind and loving person that always had a smile for everyone. She also had a love for Angels and now she is with the Angels. Jeri Kaye loved music, puzzles and doing arts and crafts. She worked for many years at Delta Downs.

She was preceded in death by her father Gerald Johnson, and uncles; Bill Johnson, Gwendle Johnson, Larry Johnson and Doug Johnson.

Those left to cherish her memory are her mother, Mary Meekee Johnson of Orange, TX, brother Louie Volner of Temple, TX, aunt Jorene Wells, uncles Larry Johnson and Johnny Johnson and numerous, cousins and wonderful friends.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Dorman Funeral Home.
