Joann Honeycutt Obituary

On December 4, 1958 in Orange, Texas, the Birth Angel announced the birth of a beautiful baby girl to Allen and Dorothy Williams of Deweyville, Texas. She shall be called JoAnn. God graced that beautiful daughter with 62 years and 9 months of life here among family and friends. On September 10, 2021 at 2o’clock in the afternoon the Death Angel placed the kiss of death on her lips and she went home to be with the Lord.

JoAnn was preceded in death by her dad and mom, Allen and Dorothy Williams and her brother Steve Williams.  She is survived by her daughter Casondra Honeycutt of Deweyville, her brother Larry Williams and wife Julia, her sister Wanda White and husband Connie, numerous nieces and nephews and a host of church family and friends.

JoAnn was a member of Hartburg Baptist Church, where she was actively involved with the Lords work. She was especially dedicated to the monthly food ministry. She loved the interaction with the people she served and sense of fulfillment from helping those who were in need. She also enjoyed care giving to those within her family, church family and community. She loved reading and working jigsaw puzzles, where you could find one in progress on her new puzzle board at almost any time. She also enjoyed crocheting, and sharing her finished projects with family and friends

JoAnn with her sweet personality, mischievous little smile and caring ways will be missed by all who knew her, but we are confident and certain, because of her relationship with the Lord, that she is even now enjoying a reunion to beat all reunions.

Rest is Peace sweet sister,
