John Taylor Belcher

John Taylor Belcher, 80, of Orange, Texas passed away on Friday, May 31, 2019.  John was born on Thursday, August 4, 1938 in Washington, D.C. to Boyd and Edith Belcher. John served his country faithfully and honorably in the U.S. Army.   He was a brick mason for 50 years; he was also a Mason.  John loved cars and auto racing.  He was married to the love of his life, Glenda Bush, for 55 years.  John will be missed by his family and friends.

John was preceded in death by his parents, Boyd and Edith Belcher.

John is survived by his loving wife, Glenda; sons, William Craig Belcher, and Todd Jackson Belcher; a grandson, Kyle Belcher; a granddaughter, Gracie Rose; great grandchildren, Anna Jane, Jaci Lynn, McKenzie, and Ben; three brothers, Boyd Belcher, Robert Belcher, and Jerry Belcher; two sisters, Margaret Wise, and, Dorothy Reeves; as well as other family members and friends.

The Family will receive friends on Monday, June 3,  2019  from 5:00pm to 7:00pm in the Chapel of Dorman Funeral Home, 8808 Hwy 87 N., Orange, Texas 77632.
