Julie Marie (Wofford) Babington

Julie Marie Babington, age 57 of Buna, Texas, passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2021 surrounded by her family in Orange, Texas. Services to honor Julie’s life will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 19, 2021 at Dorman Funeral Home with Brother Lee Everhart officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Trout Creek Cemetery. Family and friends will gather for a visitation from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, February 18, 2021 at Dorman Funeral Home.

Julie was born in Houston, Texas on September 5, 1963 to Margaret Carol Lewing Wofford and Hughgee Wofford. She married her sweetheart, Ronnie on August 19, 1994 and the couple raised 3 children together. Julie loved her grandbabies and thought there was nothing any better than being a grandparent. Family was huge part of her life and spending time having backyard BBQs and vacations together were her favorites. She loved boat rides and to spend time at her favorite sandbar with friends. Julie will be greatly missed by all that knew her kind and loving spirit.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Carol Wofford and her sister Leslie Lejeune.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Ronnie Babington of Buna, TX, sons, Eric Mitchell of Orange, TX and Ronnie Babington, Jr. and his wife Carla of Buna, TX, daughter Selina Goodwin and her husband Josh of Richmond, VA, father Gene Wofford of Orange, TX, brother Mike Wofford and his wife Sonya of Orange, TX, sisters Theresa Whitfield and her husband Craig of orange, TX, Mary Jane Wofford of Orange, TX, brother-in-law Rusty Lejeune of Starks, LA, grandchildren; Chasity,  Aiden, Caleb, Jacob, Gabrielle, Ariana and River and numerous nieces, nephews and wonderful friends.

Pallbearers to honor Julie will be Aden Mitchell, Andrew Statum, Wesley Higginbotham, Trenton Salter, Daniel Whitfield and John Foil.
