Katherine Elaine (Johnson) Hock

Katherine Elaine Hock, age 79, of Orange, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, in Sulphur, Louisiana. Services to honor Katherine will be held at 2:00 PM, on Thursday, November 16, 2023, at Dorman Funeral Home. Family and friends will meet for Rite of Committal and Interment, beginning at 3:30 PM, at Autumn Oaks Memorial Park. Visitation of family and friends will be held from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM, on Thursday, November 16, 2023, at Dorman Funeral Home.

On Saturday, October 21, 1944, Katherine was born to Gladys (Odom) and Toxie Johnson, in Purvis, Mississippi. Katherine was a caring woman, who worked for many years in healthcare, as a certified nursing aid. In her spare time, Katherine enjoyed spending time outside in her yard, gardening, painting, and knitting. Katherine was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Preceding Katherine in death are her parents, Toxie and Gladys Johnson; and the father of her children, Herman Graham.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Vina McKay and husband, Jerry, and Gladys Sethi; son, Donny Graham; boyfriend, Willie Billiot; grandchildren, Miranda Miller and husband, Alan, Kaci McKay and fiancé, Richard Kimball, Katelyn Sethi, Kourtney Arceneaux and husband, Shayne; great-grandchildren, Logan Miller, Lily Miller, Adalynn Kimball, Jaxon Arceneaux; and numerous member of extended family, and friends.

Honoring Katherine as pallbearers are Willie Billiot, Jerry McKay, Shayne Arceneaux, Richard Kimball, Kenny Kelly, and Charlie Culpepper.
