Kathern Lynn

Mrs. Kathern Lynn, age 88 of Orange County, Texas, passed away on Saturday August 28, 2021 in Orange, Texas.

Graveside services, under the direction of Dorman Funeral Home, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at, Parrish Cemetery in Orange, Texas. Brother Russ Bowman will be officiating services.    

Mrs. Lynn was born May 10, 1933, in Culllman, Alabama and had lived in Orange County, Texas, for most of her life. She was a member of the Church of Christ and was a faithful wife and mother who enjoyed taking care of her family's needs. She also had a great love for animals, especially her cats and dogs.

Her survivors include her daughters, Sheila Allen of Lumberton, Texas, and Sharon Whitten and husband Jerry of Orange, Texas; six grandchildren, Brooke McBride, Brett Braxton, Natalie Wilson, Courtney Phillips, Kandice Bacon, and Krystal Gonzales; and 20 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Wesley "Bill" Lynn; a son, Ricky Steven Lynn; a great-granddaughter, Gabriella Leann Phillips; in addition to her parents.
