Kathy Jones

Kathy Mae (Delome) Jones, age 60, of Mauriceville, Texas, passed away on Monday, August 21st, 2023, surrounded by loved ones.  Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Tuesday, August 29th at Dorman Funeral Home,  located at 8808 Old TX-87, Orange, Texas, Funeral Service will immediately follow at 11:00 AM.  Burial will follow at "The Cemetery" in Mauriceville, Texas.

Kathy was born on November 24th, 1962 in Groves, Texas, to parents, Allen Lee Delome and Betty Mae Delome.  Kathy met the love of her life Mark Jones in July of 1987.  They married on August 27th, 1988, and were happily married for 35 years.  She loved fishing and camping with her Husband, Children, and Grandchildren.  She also loved swimming with her grandchildren.  Her best memory was the births of her four grandchildren.

Kathy is preceded in death by her Father Allen Lee Delome, Mother Betty Mae Delome, and Brother Randall Delome.

Kathy is survived by her Husband Mark Thomas Jones of Mauriceville, Texas, Daughter Ashleigh Nicole (Jones) Garza and Husband Adam Garza and children Michael and Olivia Garza, of Iowa, Louisiana, and Son Randall Thomas Jones and wife Anna Jones, and their two children Rebecka Jones and Allen Jones, of Little Cypress, Texas.

Pallbearers are Lee Harris, Ryan Jones, Brent Jones, Jeremy Trahan, Russell Delome, and Jerome (Romey) Dean Jones Jr.  

Honorary Pallbearers are Annette Bonnin, Damon Vacek, Brandon Fisher, Charley Elkins, Allen Jones, and Michael Garza.  Thank you to all employees of First State Bank of Texas in Orange, Texas for your love and support.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that remembrances be made in the form of contributions to American Cancer Society.
