Louvenia “Lomie” Salome Worley, age 69 of West Orange, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at her home. A memorial service to honor Lomie’s life will be held at 6:00 PM on Thursday, January 28, 2020 at Nederland Apostolic Church with Bishop James Corkran officiating. Family and friends will gather from 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM for a visitation before the service. Dorman Funeral Home has been entrusted the arrangements.
Lomie was born on April 21, 1951 in Holiday, Missouri to parents, Lomie Binge and James Riley Stamp. She married her John in 1969 and the couple raised their four children together in Orange. Lomie was old school mother, who believed in hard work and lots of love. When she was younger, she enjoyed square dancing with her husband. Lomie was a true homemaker, but occasionally worked at different jobs to help out the family through the years. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
She is preceded in death by her husband Johns Albert Worley and her parents.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son John Travis Worley of Orange, TX, daughters; Kiva Rasool of Orange, TX, Desiree’ Worley (JC Bacon) of Orange, TX and Delilah Mahoney (James) of Orange, TX, sisters; LaVonda Nickle, Katherine Sellens and Pearl Patrick, seven grandchildren; Rani Worley-Rasool, John Worley, Joseph Worley, Savanah Worley, Liam Mahoney, Keela Mahoney, Pene’lope Mulhollan and Alexander Worley Bacon and great grandchildren Brannon Eli and Loxiea Wren.
