Lusinda Marie Austin

Lusinda Marie Austin, age 41, of Orange, Texas, passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2020, in Beaumont, Texas. Arrangements were made under the direction of Dorman Funeral Home.

Lusinda was born on Wednesday, April 11, 1979, in, Wichita Falls Texas to parents, Pam (Civiletto) and Robert Furbush. Lusinda was a resident of Orange, Texas for the last 4 years after moving from Leesville, Louisiana. Lusinda was a very loved and special woman who was full of life and loved spending quality time with her family, every chance that life allowed. She met the love of her life when she came to know Ethan Austin. The couple shared 8 blissful years together but made a lifetime of special memories. Her children, Eric and Marie Baker, were also a special light in her life and she loved them dearly. When Lusinda was a young girl, she lived with her dad in Germany while he was in the military for 8 years. While living there, she came to love and learn how to cook a lot of great German dishes, which she made for her family every chance that she got. She was also a phenomenal baker and cake decorator. Chocolate cake and Red Velvet was amongst her best cakes to bake, as it was she and her husband’s favorites. When Lusinda lived in Leesville, she was a big participator and long-time member of the Leesville Volunteer Fire Department and missed it greatly every day since then.

Lusinda was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend, who will forever be loved and missed by all who knew her.

Lusinda is survived by her loving husband of 8 years, Ethan Austin; children, Eric Baker and Marie Baker; brothers, Richard Furbush and Jeremy Furbush, as well as, father, Robert Furbush.

Lusinda is preceded in death by her mother, Pam (Civiletto) Furbush.
