Mark Shay Obituary

Mark Joseph Shay, Sr., age 60 of Orange, Texas, passed away at his home on Monday, April 20, 2020. A memorial service to honor Mark’s life will be held at a later date. Dorman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mark was born in Port Arthur, Texas on October 10, 1959 to Leo O’Neal and Lorraine Shay. He worked as a forklift operator for the Mundy Company for the past 15 years. Mark was a member of the 1st Christian Church of Orangefield. He was an avid fisherman, loved drag racing and old cars. He was a loving father, brother and grandfather that will be greatly missed.

Those left to cherish his memory are his children; Mark Joseph Shay, Jr. of Nederland, Texas, Jayden Nikol Shay of Nederland, TX and Misty Lorraine Payne of Walker, LA, step-son Kenneth Cody Kitchens, sister Bridgette Collins and her husband Charles of Orange, TX and grandchildren; Hunter Johnson, Brice Payne and Shay Payne.
