March 25, 1935 ~ June 30, 2021 (age 86) 86 Years Old

Mary Prince Obituary

Mary Raspino Prince 86, of Orange, Texas passed away June 30, 2021 at home surrounded by her friends and family.  A mass to honor Mary will be held at 4:00 PM on Friday, July 2, 2021 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Father Joseph P. Daleo officiating. Entombment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Family and friends will gather for a visitation from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, July 1, 2021 at Dorman Funeral Home.

Born in New Orleans, Louisiana on March 25, 1935 to Joseph A and Celia Raspino. She was a resident of Orange, Texas for more than 60 years. She attended college at Northeastern State University in Monroe, Louisiana. She was a teacher at LCM High School and retired in 1988. Mary was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved her family.  

Mary is preceded in death by her parents Joseph A and Celia Raspino, her husband Preston Prince, her daughter Tracey Drew and 8 brothers and sisters (Joe, Louis, Raymond, Cecelia, Lucy, Jude, Tommy, and Jerry).

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters Janell Dischler (Ron) of Orange, Trisha Beaudry (George) of Fort Worth. Grandchildren Brooke Leger, Whitney Holcomb (Michael), Craig Leger (Emily), Phil Drew, Clay Drew, Erin Tawater (Jordan), Alex Kimbrell (Jake), and Chase Beaudry (Baylee). Great grandchildren Bailey Drew, Savannah Drew, Avery Drew, Ezra Drew, Axel Drew, Kamden Credeur, Payton Credeur, Kayson Holcomb, Paxton Holcomb, Lilly Mae Leger, Pryce Leger,  Hayden Tawater, Lane Tawater, and Graham Beaudry. Mary is also survived by her brother in law Donnie Futch and sister in law Nell Futch and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Craig Leger, Michael Holcomb, Phil Drew, Clay Drew, Chase Beaudry, Jake Kimbrell, and Jordan Tawater. Honorary Pallbearers Kamden Credeur, Payton Credeur, Kayson Holcomb, Paxton Holcomb, Hayden Tawater, Lane Tawater, Graham Beaudry, and Pryce Leger.

The family would like to thank Heart to Heart Hospice for their excellent care of our mother especially her nurse Natasha Smith and CNA’s Iesha Andrews and Phyllis Fontenette. We would also like to thank Patsy Charlot, Marie Theal, Mary Doucet, Emily Leger and Tasha Barnes for taking such wonderful care of her.
