Nicholas "Nick" Erie Cole

Nicholas “Nick” Erie Cole, age 26 of Deweyville, Texas, passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2020 in Beaumont, Texas. A celebration of life service to honor Nick will be held at a later date by his family. Services are under the direction of Dorman Funeral Home.

Nick was born in Orange, Texas on November 21, 1993 to Rhonda Slaughter Cole and Joseph “Joey” Dwayne Cole. Nick grew up in Deweyville, where he lived with his aunt and uncle Anita and Rodney Reed and he was loved very much. Nick enjoyed fishing and listening to music. He was recently baptized at the United Pentecostal Church of Deweyville and was always excited to visit with the church members and listen to Brother Michael preach. He was a kind and special young man who will be missed terribly.

He is preceded in death by his father Joseph “Joey” Dwayne Cole.

He is survived by his aunt and uncle Anita and Rodney Reed of Deweyville, TX, mother Rhonda Slaughter Cole of Vidor, TX, brother Zack Massey of Vidor, TX , sisters; Kerah Cole of Orange, TX,  Drue Vice of Vinton, LA along with Zoey Vice of Vinton, LA and Gab Vice of Vinton, LA,  as well as grandparents numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
