Patricia Suzanne Fitts

 Patricia Suzanne Fitts, age 86, of Deweyville, Texas, went to join her husband, Clifford, in heaven on Friday, November 26, 2021.  Family and friends will gather to honor Patricia’s life from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Sunday, December 5, 2021, at Dorman Funeral Home.

The daughter of Charles and Dorothy Bridges, Patricia was born on Thursday, March 7, 1935, in Vallejo, California.  Patricia was happily married to her best friend, Clifford Fitts, for 66 years.  She was a ray of sunshine as an office administrator for Cain Chemical for many years. 

There was nothing like Patricia’s devotion to her family. Her love for her husband, children and grandchildren was like no other. She took great pleasure from traveling, driving her motor home that her husband was allowed to maintain and allowed to ride in as she drove off into the sunset with a steering wheel described as “the bigger the better!” Patricia loved leaving for Toledo Bend early Tuesday mornings to spend treasured time playing cards with Coon and Jean Constance, she could also be found laughing and spending quality time with Cubby and Pat or joining in with Friends Incorporated.  Patricia never met a stranger and was an inspiration to all that had the pleasure of meeting her.  She was willing to help anyone she met, always bringing light to others and a smile to their faces.   Patricia was a kind hearted woman with wisdom and advice she freely shared and will be deeply missed.

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Fitts, Brothers Sam Wilson, Luther Avery and Emery Wilson; grandson, Jeremy Clippa.

Those left to cherish her memories and miss her infectious laugh are her sons Russell Gene Fitts and wife Kelly Fitts of Deweyville, Texas, Mark A. Fitts of Mauriceville, Texas and daughter Pamela Taylor and husband Jeffery of Deweyville, Texas; Grandchildren, Curtis Fitts and wife Kathrine, Nicole Fitts, Alex Fitts, Stacy Bean and husband Keith, Michelle Rodriguez and wife Julia, Misty Clippa; numerous great grandchildren and great great-children.
