Patricia Bernal Keil

Patricia Bernal Keil, age 76, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away on, Tuesday, September 26, 2023, in San Antonio, Texas. A memorial service to honor Patricia will be held at 11:00 AM, on October 28, 2023, at 405 Happy Trail Shavano Park, Texas; Pastor Mike Weaver officiating. Local arrangements were made under the direction of Dorman Funeral Home.

On Sunday, December 8, 1946, Patricia was born to Pedro and Delores Bernal, in San Antonio, Texas. Patricia worked for many years at the Housing Authority, in Houston, Texas. In her spare time, Patricia enjoyed singing and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a devout Christian woman, who deeply loved her God. Patricia was always known by how she could make anyone’s day a little extra special; by singing Happy Birthday, in its entirety, if it was your birthday and baking David’s favorite, red velvet cake. Patricia was dearly loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.

Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, Pedro and Delores D. Bernal; husband of over 20 years, Frederick W. Keil; son, Stephen F. Keil; and sister, Sandra Ward.

Those left to cherish Patricia’s memory are her daughter, Stephanie L. Roberts and best son-in-law, David Roberts; brothers, Ronnie Bernal and wife, Lorraine, and Pete Bernal and former wife, Roseann; sister, Cindy Rogers; five grandchildren, Tyler Roberts and wife, Alex, Brendon Roberts, Hailey Keil, Elijah Keil, and Stephen Keil II; god-daughter, Kim Gonzales and husband, Roland; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
