Penny Jenkins, age 94, of Orange, Texas, passed away in Beaumont, Texas, on January 26, 2023.

Penny was born In Rayne, Louisiana, on Saturday, March 17, 1928, on St. Patrick's Day, to proud parents Emmitt and Mildred Milligan. Penny worked as a book keeper for many years and was an amazing seamstress, that could sew anything you could imagine. Penny and her deeply loved husband, Jeff, traveled the world visiting exotic destinations such as Europe, Hong Kong, and Africa. Always quick with a beautiful smile, she never met a stranger and always left everyone feeling special.

Penny is survived by her beloved husband, Jeffrey Hughes; two wonderful children, Don and Linda; and her granddaughter, Jamie.

Cremation arrangements were made under the care of Dorman Funeral Home.
