Phillip Dean Owens

Mr. Phillip Dean Owens, age 48, of Orange County, Texas, passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2021.

Mr. Owens was born September 28, 1972, in Vidalia, Georgia. He served in the United States Navy on the U.S.S. Truett and after being stationed in Texas, he became a lifetime resident. He had worked in the petroleum industry as a pipefitter. He had a great love for fishing, golf and most of all his son. He was a devoted family man and friend who was always willing to lend a helping hand. He will be best remembered for his jokes, laughter and work ethic.

Mr. Owens is survived by his son, Brandon Owens of Corpus Christi, Texas; father, Gerald Owens of Dublin, Georgia; sisters, Missy Owens Cagle of Fairmont, Georgia; and Sherry Owens of McRae, Georgia. He is proceeded by his mother, Barbara Elaine Ayers.

Private arrangements are under the direction of Dorman Funeral Home in Orange, Texas.
