Ray B. Miller, age 65 of Orange, Texas, passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2019 in Beaumont, Texas. Services to honor Ray’s life will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at Dorman Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor WW Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Orange. Family and friends will gather for a visitation on Monday, September 16, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Dorman Funeral Home.
Ray was born in Dallas, Texas on December 2, 1953 to Vincent and Ruby Miller. He married his soul mate, Gail on August 15, 1983 in Orange, Texas, where the couple made their home and raised their family that he loved so much. Ray served in the Texas State Guard for many years and was the former Plant Manager of Knife River in Bridge City. He attended Pinehurst Pentecostal Church. Ray enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting, playing games and watching his Dallas Cowboys. He loved spending time with his family and will be greatly missed.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Vincent and Ruby Miller and his son Clifford Wayne Seelye Sr.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 36 years Gail Miller of Orange, TX, sons, Roy Lee Seelye, Jr. and his wife Brandy of Orange, TX and William Heath Miller and his wife Jennifer of Vidor, sister Glenda Gail Feuge and her husband, Kenny of Fredericksburg, TX, thirteen grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
Those honoring Ray as pallbearers will be William Miller, Quentin Uher, Lee Seelye, Aaron Seelye, Clifford Seelye Jr., Gaven Seelye, Steven LeBlanc and Wesley Cole.
