Renee Marie Phillips

Renee Marie Phillips, age 49, of Orange, Texas, passed from this life on Saturday, June 12, 2021. A Memorial Gathering to honor Renee’s life will be held from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at, Dorman Funeral Home, in Orange, Texas, Services are under the direction of, Dorman Funeral Home.  

Renee was born in Lake Charles, Louisiana on Sunday, February 13, 1972 to, Sally Anne (Shea) and Stanford Paul Hebert. Renee was known and loved by many. Renee met the love of her life when she came to know, James Phillips. The couple moved to Orange, Texas, in 2005, sharing 18 years of marriage, but making a lifetime of memories. Renee was a wonderfully talented seamstress who could make homemade dolls, stuffed animals and much more. A lot of her work was sold on eBay, as well as to individuals who placed custom orders with her. She was also talented at floral design and did so every chance that she got. The couple enjoyed traveling together to many places. Such as, Cozumel, Jamaica, British Columbia, Vegas and many more. They also enjoyed riding the motorcycle together, short and long distances. She attended the Blue Angels Air Show several times, as she loved watching all of the talent. Renee was a loving wife, daughter, sister, granddaughter, sister-in-law, step-mother, step-grandmother, aunt and friend who will forever be loved and missed by all who knew her.

Renee is preceded in death by her parents, Stanford and Sally Hebert.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 18 years, James Phillips; step-children, Tony Phillips and wife Carley, David Phillips and wife Becky, Jamie McKeown and husband Ron, as well as, Elizabeth Phillips; brother, Nick Hebert and wife Jana; step-grandchildren, Kayleigh, Abby, Brooke, Malikai, Kaitlyn, Ashlynn, Madison, Dyson, Joselyn, Scarlett and Sophia; sister-in-law, Charlene Phillips; step-mother, Janet Hebert; nephew, Leonardo Hebert: extended family and friends.
