Ricky Gonzales

Ricky “Taco” was born in Orange, Texas on Friday, December 25, 1959, to proud parents Laverne and Bernie Gonzales. He was full of life, always with a quick smile and a sparkle in his eyes. Ricky was Spontaneous, adventurous and fearless. He was a hardworking man who loved his family deeply and loved listening to all types of music loudly and riding his Harley feeling the wind in his face. May the good times never be forgotten; you will be forever loved and missed!

Preceding Ricky in death is his father Bernie Gonzales.

Those left to cherish his memory is his mother Laverne Gonzales; daughter, Amanda Joy Gonzales Davis of Lumberton, Texas; grandchildren. Kody Bryson Roberts and Austin Reid Davis; brother, Rocky Gonzales & Wife Sherri Gonzales of Orange, TX; nephew, Hunter Gonzales & Wife Mikaela (children Brooks Gonzales and Hayes Gonzales) and Rocky Gonzales Jr. (Children Riley Gonzales & Marley Gonzales) and numerous extended family and friends.  Taco will be deeply missed by all that knew him.

Services to honor Taco will be held at 12:00 PM, on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at Dorman Funeral Home.  Visitation of family and friends will be held one hour prior to services. Rite of committal and interment will immediately follow, at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, in Orange, Texas.

Pallbearers honoring Taco is Stevie Pachuca, Paul Sanchez Richard Mullins, Hunter Gonzales, Jeremy Gonzalez, Trini Gonzalez.

Honorary pallbearers are Herman Gonzalez, Rocky Gonzales Jr., Kody Roberts, Austin Davis, Rick Law, Johnny Stimac, and John Toomey.
