Romona Rose (Hearn) Westbrook

Ramona Rose Westbrook, age 86, of Deweyville, Texas, passed away on Saturday, December 1, 2018. Funeral services, under the direction of Dorman Funeral Home, will be held on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at 2:00 PM, at Dorman Funeral Home in Orange, Texas, with Brother John Fortenberry officiating. Visitation of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

Ramona was born on Monday, March 7, 1932, in Ashdown, Arkansas to parents, Cordie Lee (Anthony) and Benny Buck Hearn. She had been a lifetime resident of Deweyville, Texas after moving from Orange, Texas in 1944. Ramona was a very loving, good hearted woman who loved spending time with her children and grandchildren more than anything else in the world. She was a long time LVN Nurse at Orange Memorial Hospital in Orange, Texas and thoroughly enjoyed her career. Ramona loved to travel and got to take some wonderful trips to Alaska on a cruise, as well as many trips to Branson. She loved home the most though because that's where she was closest to all her loved ones. Ramona was a daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister and friend who will forever be loved and missed by all who knew her.

Ramona is preceded in death by husband, James Westbrook; parents, Benny and Cordie Hearn and daughter, Linda Joyce Killian.

Ramona is survived by her children, Michael Torrento and wife Becky, June Torrento Wilburn and husband Mack, Mitchell Crooks, Deborah May Talbert, Ramona Rose Odom, William Gary Crooks and wife Teresa and Bobby Dale Crooks and wife Suzy as well as a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
