Rosalee Carol Haas, age 63 of Orange, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2020 in Vidor, Texas. A memorial service to honor Rosalee’s life will be held at a later date.
Rosalee was born in Kenora, Canada on July 5, 1956 to Jack and Betty Haas. She made her way down to Orange, Texas where she raised her family. Rosalee was a very kind loving person, who had enough love to open her home and share with others. Her life revolved around her children and her grandchildren. Rosalee loved spending time and fishing with her family. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed baking. The holidays were very special time for her, as she would bake for her neighbors and her many friends. She loved to leave special goodies on doorsteps, ring the bell and disappear. She was a Christian who was strong in her faith and instilled the importance of God and the savior Jesus Christ in her family. Rosalee had a great passion for genealogy. She had discovered thousands of past and present relatives and kept in touch with those that she found. Rosalee will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Betty Haas, son Jonathan Minchew and her brother John Haas.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children; Brent Minchew, Jr. and his wife Katherine of Orange, TX, Cynthia Minchew of Orange, TX, AliahSalogo and her husband Ja’Qualan of Orange, TX, Daylyn Bynum of Orange, TX, Daryl Webb of Orange, TX and, sisters Beverly Williams of Sioux Narrows, Ontario, Joyce Cunningham of Abbotsford, British Columbia and Elizabeth Haas of Kenora, Ontario, her grandchildren; Jonathan Minchew, Jr., Brent Minchew, III, Melana Minchew, Kenneth Minchew, Jayceon Coleman and another to arrive soon.
