Rose Stark (Vickers) Daniels, 82, of the McLewis Community was reunited with the love of her life on November 22, 2022. Her beloved Husband of 33 years, Bert Daniels passed away on July 19, 2014. And her beloved first born child Curtis Randall Vickers passed away on March 9, 1980, at the age of 21.
Rose lived a long life and passed peacefully surrounded with her daughter Melissa and at her “request" at her home with her loving dogs.
She was a member of First Christian of Orange. She attended Stark High School. She worked at Nelson’s Drug store for many, many years. She worked as a manager at Flying J’s restaurant for many years also. She enjoyed fishing & reading. She loved to oil paint and collect porcelain dolls.
She is survived by four children, Troye Moxley, Todd and spouse Charlotte Vickers, Loren (pnut) and spouse Cil Vickers, and Melissa and spouse Curtis (Shorty) Fowler all McLewis Community, and her four precious dogs, Molly, Oppsie, Lexie, Gracie and Bud.
She was known as Grandma Rose or Nanny by so many of her grandkids. Curtis Michael and spouse Chodi Vickers of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Jessica and spouse Darren Fountain of Mauriceville, Kelly and spouse Matt Hoffpauir of Sulphur, La, Katrina and spouse Kyle Ward of Orangefield, Dillon Vickers of Orangefield, Randall Vickers of Vidor. And by her great grandkids, Curtis Cade Vickers of McLewis, Hunter Beard of McLewis, Gavin Fountain of Mauriceville, Ashtin Fountain of Mauriceville, Bladen Fountain of Mauriceville, Scarlett Tucker of Orangefield,Jack Tucker of Orangefield.
At her request she did not want a funeral but to be cremated and her ashes scattered along with her husbands.
The family will have a memorial at a later time.
The family would like to Thank Accent Care Hospice and their nurse Amy Campbell for ALL EXCELLENT care and LOVE that they gave to mom.
