Roy Vernon Schultz

Roy Vernon Schultz, age 61 of Deweyville, Texas, passed away on Monday, March 16, 2020 in Port Arthur, Texas. Roy’s family and friends will have a private memorial to honor and remember his life.

Roy was born in Rock Island, Illinois to Deanna Mitchell Schultz and John Schultz on December 20, 1958. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. He worked at the Bridge City Wal-Mart for over 20 years. Roy loved music and playing trivia games.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Deanna Schultz and his sister Misha Linnette Wiggins.

Survivors include his wife Susan Samuels, step son Josh Samuels and his wife Emily, a sister Ann Marie Wyatt, niece and nephews; Niccy Paine, Loren Roberts and his wife Brittnie, John Wiggins, Theron Roberts, Jarrod Roberts and Kaleb Roberts, two grandchildren and his Bridge City Wal-Mart coworkers that he loved so much.
