Scott Alan Wofford

Scott Alan Wofford passed away from this life on Monday, January 16, 2023.  He was 45 years old.  Services will be held at 6:00 PM, Friday, January 20, 2023 at Dorman Funeral Home.  Visitation of family and friends will be held prior to services from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM, at Dorman Funeral Home.  Arrangements are under the care of Dorman Funeral Home.

A graduate of Deweyville HS, he was a life-long resident of the Deweyville area.  Even though Scott was a pipefitter by trade you could often find him tinkering around on cars, lawnmowers, his motorcycle or anything else he thought needed tuning up. 

If you knew Scott you knew that he was all about family.  While he “tolerated” most adults, he especially loved the babies. 

Scott was always ready to help out anyone in need.  He was our beloved gentle giant and one that can never be replaced.  He was well-loved and will be dearly missed.

Scott is survived by his spouse Christina Reed, daughter Jacelyn (Red) Reed, parents Brenda and Billy Wofford, brother Brian Wofford, sister Sarah Bland (Dex), grandson Kyson James, nephew Jared Guidry, nieces Tori Wofford, KeeLeigh Jenkins, BrynLei Jenkins, Aspyn Wofford and Adley Jane Bland and great-nephew Riker James Freed, as well as numerous aunts, uncles and life-long friends.
