Summer Grace Nichols

Summer Grace Nichols, age 18 of Orange, Texas, passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2020 in Orange, Texas. A memorial service to celebrate her short life will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at the home of Tony and Melissa Fairchild, 316 CR 4995 Orange, TX 77632.

Summer was born in Port Arthur, Texas on July 22, 2002 to Christal Jeanise and Kenneth Nichols. She was a 2020 high school graduate of Parkview Baptist and was planning on attending Veterinary Tech School in the fall. Summer had the kindest heart and a passion for animals. She enjoyed learning to play the guitar, singing, art and listening to all kinds of different music. She loved her family and especially her big sister, Starr. The two spent their last hours together before they both left for heaven.

Summer is preceded in death by her paternal great grandmother Willie “MiMi” Mae Fairchild and maternal grandfather Darrell Jeanise.

Those left to cherish her memory are her parents, Kenneth Nichols of Orange, TX and Christal Jeanise of Orange, TX, paternal grandmother Dianne Nichols, maternal grandmother Jacqueline Jeanise  (Vernon Miller) of Orange, brothers, Skylar Lee Nichols (Kaylah Husbands) of Orange, TX and Timothy Micheal Gibbon of Orange, TX and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
