Thomas "Tommy" William Rainwater

Thomas William Rainwater, age 57 of Orange, Texas, passed away in Port Arthur, Texas on Wednesday, August 3, 2022. Graveside services to honor his life will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at Hyatt Cemetery in Fields, Louisiana. Family and friends will gather for a visitation from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, August 15, 2022 at Dorman Funeral Home.

Tommy was born in Beaumont, Texas on February 7, 1965 to parents Lee Ann Griffin Rainwater and Thomas Ray Rainwater. He graduated from Orangefield High School, where he was an outstanding athlete and still holds many records. Tommy was a retired landscaper, but still enjoyed taking care of his neighbor’s yards. Tommy was huge Dallas Cowboys fan. Tommy was a kind person, who enjoyed being around his friends and never seemed to meet a stranger. He had a love for animals and enjoyed taking care of them. Tommy will be greatly missed by all those who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his father Thomas Ray Rainwater.

Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Lee Ann Griffin Rainwater of Orange, TX, brother Anthony “Tony” Rainwater of West Orange, TX, sister Brandy Leigh Rainwater of Bridge City, TX, a host of nieces and nephews and many wonderful friends.

Pallbearers to honor Tommy will be Dennis Adlong, Darren Wagner, John Vout, Robert Peterson, Joan Morris and Anthony Rainwater.
