Tina Marie Granger, age 58, of Orange, Texas, passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2020. Funeral services, under the direction of Dorman Funeral Home, will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, June 20, 2020 at Harvest Chapel in West Orange, Texas. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 10:00 AM until service time.
Tina was born in Port Arthur, Texas on Sunday, March 18, 1962, to parents, Diana Mae (Breoux) and Charles Dewey Ray Hebert. She was a longtime resident of Orange where she was known and loved by many. On December 20, 1979, Tina married the love of her life, Jimmy Granger, Sr. The couple made their home in Orange, where they made many wonderful memories with their children and grandchildren. Tina loved her children, but her grandchildren were the light of her life. She absolutely adored her husband Jimmy, as well as her son-in-law, Malcom. Family meant everything to her and she herself would go without to help any one of them, if and when they were ever in need. Tina was a Christian woman and a proud member of Harvest Chapel in West Orange, Texas. She loved our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and praised him by singing in the church choir about his almighty love, with her beloved church friends and sisters.
Tina was a loving wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, great- grandmother, sister and wonderful friend, who will forever be loved and missed by all who knew her.
Tina is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Jimmy Granger, Sr.; son, Gator Granger and wife Amber; daughter, Miranda Martin and husband Malcom; brothers, JR Hebert and Danny Ray Hebert; grandchildren, Brock Cormier, Brooke Cormier, Nevaeh Granger, Alexis Ganger, Roger Granger, Gabriel Granger and Taeler Giessinger; great-grandchildren, Chadlynn Cormier, Ashtynn Cormier, Elizabeth Cormier and Ethan Cormier; nephews, Dave Fontenot and wife Tia, John Fontenot and wife Deadra and Chad Fontenot.
Tina is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Diana Hebert; son, Roger Dale Granger and sister, Elaina “Tiny” Cherie Fontenot.
