Troy Dean Carruth

Troy Dean Carruth, age 58, of Orange, Texas, passed away at his home, on Wednesday, October 25, 2023.  Arrangements were made under the care of Dorman Funeral Home.

On Tuesday, June 8, 1965, Troy was born to Jerry Carruth and Cheryll Moreau, in Port Arthur, Texas. Troy worked for many years in construction and was a skilled carpenter. In his spare time, Troy enjoyed spending time outside, hunting and fishing, but most of all, he enjoyed being with his family. Troy was a beloved son, father, grandfather, and friend, who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Troy is preceded in death by his grandparents, Lester and Shirley Badgett.

Those who will cherish Troy’s memory most are his parents, Michael and Cheryll Moreau; sons, Zachary Carruth and Nicholas Carruth; step-sons, Travis Parr and Preston Parr; daughter-in-law, Meghan Parr; brothers, Todd Carruth, Bryan Carruth, and Jeff Moreau; sister, Angela Lewis and husband, Rodney Lewis; nephews, Hunter Knox, Ian Carruth, Carson Lewis, and Cody Carruth; nieces, Hannah Dubois and BayLee Lewis; grandson, Jaxxon Parr; and numerous members of extended family, and friends.
